Plaster Family Marty Family

Descendants of Theodore R. Plaster

Theodore Plaster and his wife, Henrietta Meinke Plaster, lived in Klecko, Posen before immigrating to Stillwater, Minnesota. They arrived in New York on the S. S. Cimbria from Hamburg, Germany, on 19 June 1873. With them came his brother Edward and his family.

Theodore was a blacksmith. They lived at 421 W. Willard in Stillwater, Minnesota (down the street from the Kutz family).

Edward was a miller and a farmer and lived in Grant Township. He later divorced his wife, Bertha, although they are buried together.

Theodore and Edward had a sister, Wanda, and two brothers. Wanda immigrated in 1896 and was a schoolteacher in Minnesota. I don't know as yet whether the brothers immigrated or stayed in Germany.

Theodore and Henrietta are both buried in Salem Cemetery in Stillwater, along with his brother Edward and his wife and several of the children.

As you can see, I still have lots of holes in my research. Eventually I will have most of the "blanks" filled in so check back often!
